The Challenge
Texas CASA needed a commercial that captured the heart of their mission: volunteers who step into a child’s life during their most vulnerable moments. Instead of relying on statistics or broad messaging, the goal was to tell three intimate, human stories – each one highlighting a different facet of what CASA advocates do.
Our challenge was to create a film that remained truthful, respectful, and emotionally grounded, while also maintaining a cinematic language that would resonate with viewers statewide.
Each vignette was crafted to reflect a real scenario:
– a child navigating uncertainty,
– an advocate providing steady support,
– and the quiet moments where trust begins to form.
The visuals use soft, observational framing and natural light to emphasize authenticity, ensuring nothing feels staged or sensationalized. The result is a commercial that communicates the impact of CASA volunteers with sensitivity, clarity, and emotional weight, honoring the work without overshadowing the children at its center.
